John Wall contributed 22 points and 8 assists that left him at the forefront of the balanced attack by the Houston Rockets, who beat the Memphis Grizzlies at home 103-115.

Eric Gordon had another 20 goals and the Rockets got back on the winning track after snapping a six-game winning streak.

The noob Jae’Sean Tate scored 19 points for Houston, the season and career high, and it became the winning wow factor.

The pivot Christian Wood scored 17 points with 7 out of 10 field goals before twisting your right ankle in the third quarter, which prevented him from continuing in the game and also grabbed seven rebounds.

Wood sprained his right ankle on a drive to the basket with about eight minutes to go in the third period, and the Rockets have already expressed concern about the possible extended layoff period for the player.

The rookie escort Desmond Bane led the Grizzlies with 16 pointswhile star point guard Ja Morant added 15 that didn’t prevent the Memphis team from losing.

Tyus Jones and Brandon Clarke finished with 13 apiece when Memphis lost its second straight game after having had a seven-game winning streak.

Both teams lost by large margins in their previous matches, ending extended winning streaks of seven and six, respectively.

But Houston (11-10) showed no effect from its 17-point loss in Oklahoma City to the Thunder on Wednesday night. After having just 26 percent shooting on 3s against the Thunder, against the Grizzlies they were 19 of 45 (42%).

The game eluded the Grizzlies late in the first half when the Rockets used an 18-4 streak to lead a 47-60 lead at halftime.

The Grizzlies endured poor shooting streaks in the middle when Houston made 51% of their shots, including 9 of 18 from outside the perimeter.

Tate scored 12 of his 15 first-half points in the second quarter.

Houston extended its lead to 25 points early in the third quarter. When the lead reached 25 again with just over five minutes to go, Memphis rookie coach Taylor Jenkins gave his starters the rest of the night off by seating them on the bench and taking out the reserves.

The Rockets finished with 3-1 winning his four-game road trip, despite guard Victor Oladipo being left out, officially to recover from a right quadriceps injury.

The Grizzlies also had the losses of Lithuanian center Jonas Valanciunas and point guard Grayson Allen, subject to the league’s Covid-19 health and safety protocol.

The Grizzlies (9-8), who lost the leadership of the Southwest Division in favor of the San Antonio Spurs, who rested, had a 42.5% accuracy in field goals. Jones and Bane were the best, scoring 5 of 8.
