The Grizzlies fell at home after a horrendous fourth quarter in which the two-year-old champion came back in a big way. A 16-34 partial in those decisive minutes ended with the Grizzlies. Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet each scored 32 points, although Norman Powell was not far behind (29). Four wins in five games for the Canadians, now based in Tampa.
CHICAGO BULLS 101 – WASHINGTON WIZARDS 105
The Bulls were within a second of overtime. Well, actually a wise move for Zach LaVine to go into that extra time. The guard, author of 35 points, missed the shot that tied the game with only one second left. 35 also made Bradley Beal, who sentenced with free throws. It’s just the sixth win of the season for the Wizards.
