LeBron James expressed his displeasure at the NBA All-Star Game this season. James leads the first round of fan voting for the All-Star in the Western Conference, with more than two million votes (2,288,676), and while there is no doubt that James will be present at the exhibition, he will not do so with the nice to participate.

“I have zero energy and zero excitement for the All-Star game,” James said after the Lakers’ 114-93 win over the Nuggets on Thursday night. “I don’t know why we are going to have it, but it was the agreement with the players’ association.”

The NBA announced that there will be an All-Star Game this season, even though it was originally canceled due to the pandemic. After talks between the League and the Players Association, it was determined that the traditional event, as well as individual competitions, will be held on March 7 in Atlanta.

“We already had a very short offseason, a 71-day break between one season and another for me and my teammates, we also continue to deal with a pandemic and its aftermath and we are going to move the entire league to a city that is without restrictions. I’m not very happy about it, but it’s out of my hands. I’ll be there physically, but not mentally, ”pointed out an annoyed James.

James, who is in his 18th NBA season, continues to play at a highly competitive level. He is having a high effectiveness in shots made, especially from long distance. He is currently over 40 percent effective in triples, the highest in his career in this area.

“He continues to show himself as the best player in the league, I think it’s worth mentioning how well he’s shooting from the perimeter,” Lakers coach Frank Vogel said. “Someone who is in his 18th season and continues to evolve his game. He talks about the player he is, how the game impacts and his mentality to keep growing and improving his way of playing ”.

At 36 years of age, James is averaging 25.1 points, 7.8 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game this season.

“I have never set a limit on how far I can go. I always have the mentality of looking at how I can improve my game, ”shared LeBron. “I feel like a better player than last year. It helps my team when I can improve personally and I feel like I’ve done that. “
