The Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled in favor of Carlos Vela and the Mexican Soccer Federation because the “The TAS resolution was based on the precept of lack of passive legitimation”, according to ESPN. In fact, Ko Cha Wolis will have to pay a sum of 35,000 Swiss francs to TAS for the lost process and take over the fees of the legal representatives of Vela and the Mexican Football Federation.
