The Super Bowl halftime show, between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs, was hosted by The Weeknd, as this Canadian singer, songwriter and producer is known, who made viewers at Raymond James Stadium vibrate, and millions of viewers around the world.
In a matter of minutes, the stage was ready, it was located on the side of the stadium in Tampa, Florida, and not in the middle of the field as usual. The Weeknd -the stage name of Abel Makkonen Tesfaye- appeared in a red car, with a huge scenery behind it, evoking cities like Las Vegas or New York.

There was no audience on the court as often happens in these shows, the pandemic forced to rethink the logistics and the attendance of fans at the place. In return, the show of lights and choreography took place on the playing field
Days before it was speculated that The Weeknd He would share his presentation with stars such as the Spanish RosalÃa, the legendary duet Daft Punk or the queen of pop Ariana Grande. However, he himself in an interview on the eve of the show confirmed that he would be alone.
A year ago, Colombian Shakira stole the halftime show alongside Jennifer Lopez. The artists dazzled with their choreographies and performances in which they were accompanied by J Balvin and Bad Bunny.
The WeekndA Canadian singer and producer of African descent, he has become the greatest promise of high pop, full of soul and electronics. The artist was in Colombia at the 2017 Estéreo Picnic Festival, when he already dominated the charts and showed that he was an efficient craftsman of new rhythms and fusions.
